Click "Get Started" on the landing page, then "Sign Up". Enter your name, email and a password (8+ chars). You must accept the Terms to register.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. Passwords are encrypted with AES-256. We never send your personal data to any server.
Why do you ask for my date of birth?
To verify you are of legal drinking age. Users under 13 are blocked from alcohol-related content. Teens (13-20) see only mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings, then Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then reverts to Free.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. The entire recipe database, your inventory and shopping lists work offline. Only price comparison and new-recipe discovery require internet.
How do I add my own recipes?
Go to Recipes then "New Recipe" (a Pro feature). Enter ingredients, instructions and details. Your recipe is saved locally.
How are cocktail images sourced?
Images come from commercial-safe, royalty-free sources: Pexels, Unsplash, and Wikimedia Commons (CC0 / public domain). Each image is AI-verified to show a real drink. We never use non-commercial or attribution-required images.
Can I use Bartools on multiple devices?
Currently each device has its own local data. Cloud sync across devices is planned for a future release.
How do I change the language?
Use the language switcher on the landing page, or Settings then Language. We support English, Turkish, Spanish, French and German.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free: up to 5 bottles, limited recipes, no custom recipes or AI suggestions. Pro: unlimited bottles, all recipes, custom recipes, AI suggestions. ProPlus: adds price comparison and premium mocktails.
